Doro Life has paid for medicines for seven beneficiaries of the Podari Zhizn foundation who are receiving treatment at the Dmitry Rogachev National Medical Research Center.
This support became possible thanks to the charity events with which Doro Life launched its work in Cyprus in February this year. Thanks to the efforts of the artists, sponsors and, of course, donors, €170,000 was raised. To date, medicines worth €134,400.85 have already been purchased with these funds.
The medicines are needed by children and teenagers with severe oncohematological diseases, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia and rare dendritic cell leukemia, as well as for the prevention of serious complications after intensive therapy and bone marrow transplantation.
Zhora Temirbulatov, 7, lives in Kislovodsk, loves mathematics, goes swimming and enjoys drawing. Zhora is being treated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Doro Life paid for Daunoblastin for him, together with related expenses, in the amount of €1,434.25.
Vanya Zhdanov, 17, lives in Altai Krai, is an excellent student, loves chess and puzzles, and dreams of becoming an architect. After a severe adverse reaction to standard chemotherapy, doctors had to change his treatment strategy, and Vanya needed Daunoblastin. The amount of support provided was €1,264.25.
Arseny Savelichev, 13, lives in Ivanovo, loves mathematics, plays tennis and is passionate about stunt scooters. Arseny is being treated for leukemia, and Daunoblastin became part of his therapy. Doro Life paid for the medicine and related expenses in the amount of €1,264.25.
Egor Vokhmyanin, 12, is fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Protocol chemotherapy did not bring him into remission, so doctors had to change the treatment strategy. During therapy, Egor needed Defitelio to prevent veno-occlusive disease — a serious complication that can develop after intensive chemotherapy. Doro Life paid for the medicine and related expenses in the amount of €45,320.
Egor Nedosekin is the youngest beneficiary Doro Life has already helped: he recently turned one. His disease was discovered almost from birth, and because of his age, his treatment had to be selected with particular care. One of the medicines suitable for Egor was Xaluprine. Doro Life paid for the medicine and related expenses in the amount of €4,999.60.
Lera Kovalevich, 13, lives in the Moscow region, does well at school, does athletics and dreams of becoming a lawyer. After chemotherapy, Lera achieved remission, but to consolidate the result she needed the anticancer medicine Mitoxantrone. Doro Life paid for the medicine and related expenses in the amount of €11,988.50.
Vadim Malyshev, 17, came for treatment to the Dmitry Rogachev Center from Buryatia. Vadim has a rare diagnosis — dendritic cell leukemia — and his treatment has been difficult: he does not tolerate chemotherapy well, and doctors have had to manage complications. After a bone marrow transplant, for which his sister was the donor, Vadim needed Defitelio to prevent serious complications. Doro Life paid for the medicine and related expenses in the amount of €68,130.
All the children are now continuing treatment or recovery under medical supervision. For each of them, the medicine purchased has become part of the necessary treatment pathway — the vital link without which therapy cannot proceed as planned.
